Technological advancements and one of the most famous technological solutions worldwide Artificial Intelligence (AI), which can revolutionize many sectors, including the pharmaceutical sector. When quirky and temporally ineffective clinical assets are identified during this process, traditional drug discovery is being reinvented because of AI technologies. These tools facilitate the prediction of drug interactions and help in the determination of the best molecule orientations and drug candidates, among others, in record time. Artificial Intelligence in drug discovery is cutting the time taken to bring drugs to the market and the costs of R&D, thus heralding a new age in targeted, efficient treatments. This paper sets out to discuss the current uses of artificial Intelligence in drug development along with the ramifications that follow in the pharma field, as well as the future potential of the application of Intelligence in evolving the drug discovery process. Thus, this paper seeks to review case studies and highlight the benefits, main challenges and potential regulatory issues related to using AI in drug discovery and accelerating the process of delivering required medication to patients.
